Stephen Rothwell: Surrealist Victorian Nightmares for Every Mood

Rothwell 1 (Edit)

If Jules Verne was the devil, then Stephen Rothwell could easily be his, um…apprentice?

The monstrous photo collages at Rothwell’s Dark House Quarter mix Victorian-era goth and steampunk fantasy with just a pinch of Hellraiser thrown in to scare the Bejesus out of you.

Luckily, I had my Bejesus removed two summers ago.
