Anthony Ventura has a nice collection of hip retro-style illustrations in his portfolio at Evolve-R. Though crude and demented, they capture the imagination with rich colors, grainy textures and smart patterns creating a visual web of trashy eye-candy. And who can beat Ventura’s twisted themes, full of tattooed half-human characters, skulls, sex, violence and muscle cars?
